George II Period Walnut Chest On Stand. Presented in virtually un-touched condition. Having a walnut veneered top above an arrangement of six rectangular oak lined drawers, retaining their original brass handles, escutcheons and the original locks and working key. The drawer fronts veneered in figured walnut with herringbone banding. The chest sitting on the original stand with elegant cabriole supports, front and back and walnut veneered sides. English circa 1730-1740, amazing condition, excellent colour and patina.
