The rectangular top with an inset burgundy leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooled detail, above an arrangement of nine mahogany lined drawers retaining their original mahogany turned drawer pulls. Having polished back and sides and raised on a rectangular plinth with inset brass and porcelain castors. Superb original quality throughout, cleaned and waxed. English circa 1880
