A Late 17th Century Oak Five Plank Coffer. Having a typical hinged top with chip carved edges, opening to reveal storage area with planked sides and back. The front having a polished steel lock plate. Superb Colour and patination. In the original condition other than the blacksmith made hinges. English Circa 1680
