The upper section having a moulded cornice with egg and dart moulding above twin glazed doors with arched beading and enclosing three adjustable shelves, with free standing turned rosewood columns. The lower section having a rectangular secretaire drawer with writing surface and sliding tray, above twin rectangular doors. The whole raised on a rectangular plinth. The whole bookcase is veneered in beautifully figured rosewood. English circa 1850, excellent original condition
