A Victorian Period mahogany pedestal desk

A Victorian Period mahogany pedestal desk. The rectangular solid mahogany top having an inset faded olive green leather writing insert with gilt tooled detail, above an arrangement of nine mahogany lined drawers retaining their original turned drawer pulls. The desk is finished all the way round and raised on solid mahogany plinths. Lovely rich colour and patination. English circa 1870-1880
