A Victorian Period Gothic Revival oak pedestal desk

A Victorian Period Gothic Revival oak pedestal desk. The rectangular solid oak top having an inset blue leather writing surface with gilt tooling. The front of the desk having nine rectangular mahogany lined drawers with gothic inspired brass handles and escutcheons. The pedestals and top having gentle chamfered detail with solid oak sides, back and raised on a shaped oak plinth with inset concealed castors. English circa 1860-1870, excellent original condition throughout, the leather is in lovely condition.
