A Victorian Period burr oak and oak antique pedestal desk. The rectangular top having an inset green leather writing surface with gilt and blind tool detail and banded in burr oak. The front having an arrangement of nine rectangular drawers with oak and cedar linings and with traditional brass swan neck handles with incised reeded detail, the whole raised on eight elegant cabriole supports with solid oak sides and a polished back so it could be used free standing. The desks splits into three sections for easy transportation and delivery. English circa 1880-1900, in superb condition cleaned and waxed. A lovely colour and patination
