A Victorian Period amboyna and leather topped coffee table by Miles and Edwards of London

A Victorian Period amboyna and leather topped coffee table by Miles and Edwards of London. The rectangular top veneered in tightly figured amboyna and having the original inset green leather surface, (originally for writing now adapted to a coffee table) with an amboyna veneered frieze, above two concealed mahogany lined frieze drawers. Raised on barley twist walnut supports with scrolling feet, inset brass castors and united by a barley twist stretcher. Stamped Miles and Edwards, London. English circa 1860-1870
