A Stunning Quality Edwards & Roberts Of London marquetry inlaid desk. Of unusual form and incorporating an ingenious mechanism for opening the cylinder top. Constructed throughout in the finest fiddleback mahogany with wonderful marquetry inlaid detail throughout. Internally having a velvet lined writing surface, pen tray and letter racks, also retaining the original brass and glass inkwells. The ends having beautifully inlaid cornucopia. Raised on square tapering supports with spade feet and brass castors. English circa 1900-1910
