A petite George I Style walnut antique bookcase. The upper glazed section having a block moulded cornice above a figured walnut frieze and door with moulded glazing bars and enclosing three adjustable shelves. The lower section again veneered in beautifully figured walnut and having a rectangular mahogany lined drawer with traditional Period style handles and backplates, above twin rectangular doors opening to reveal a single shelf, the whole raised on bracket feet with solid walnut sides. English circa 1900, in excellent original condition, a wonderful colour and patination, cleaned and waxed
