A pair of Scottish oak “gossip” chairs

A pair of Scottish oak “gossip” chairs. Each of traditional Georgian design with a drop in needlepoint seat, raised on short square tapering supports and made by Wheelers of Arncroach. Scottish circa 1900-1920
These chairs have in the past been attributed to a design by Robert Lorimer
