A George III Period hexagonal mahogany wine cooler

A George III Period hexagonal mahogany wine cooler. Constructed throughout in the finest Cuban mahogany with brass strap work. The hinged top opening to reveal a compartment which would originally have been lead lined and filled with ice to keep wine cool. Raised on square tapering supports with brass socket castors. English circa 1780-1800
