A fine quality Victorian Period burr walnut antique wellington chest

A fine quality Victorian Period burr walnut antique wellington chest. The rectangular top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut which is repeated on the drawer fronts of the five rectangular drawers, each with mahogany linings and their original turned walnut drawer pulls. The drawers flanked by twin pilasters with carved corbels and the right hand one acing as a hinged locking mechanism. The sides and plinth veneered in figured walnut, in superb condition and of wonderful colour and patination. English circa 1870-1880
