A fine quality Shapland & Petter Art Nouveau mahogany inlaid cabinet. The upper section having a raised galleried back with stylised floral marquetry inlaid panels above a central glazed bow front door, enclosing a velvet lined shelved interior with four tapering supports. The lower section having a turned spindle gallery and further floral marquetry inlaid panels. The lock is stamped S&P B for Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple. Superb original condition, an excellent colour and patination. the finest quality throughout as you would expect from the renown cabinet makers. English circa 1900
