A Beautiful Victorian Period Calamander after dinner tantalus and games compendium. The case made from Calamander which is a rare and exotic timber often imported from Sri Lanka in the Victorian Period and was prized for its distinctive stripes and figuring. The case having Gothic Revival brass mounts and opening to reveal three spirit decanters, each with a solid silver label and having compartments for gaming pieces and having a “secret” drawer which houses further games accessories including a cribbage board. In superb condition throughout, the cut glass decanters and stoppers in mint condition. Also bearing a presentation plated dated 1899.
