A fine quality William IV Period rosewood open bookcase. The rectangular rosewood top with a raised gallery above a recessed frieze with finely carved floral roundels, above three adjustable shelves with rosewood edging. The shelves flanked by fluted columns with finely carved corbels, with rosewood sides and raised on a rosewood rectangular plinth. English circa 1830-1840
Condition: This bookcase is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed. One small piece of carving missing from one roundel.
